    Hello and welcome.
Which OS do you have on your device and who is your provider? Have you tried contacting them about this?

    Big thread on this here.

Various potential fixes, most of which appear to fail again after a a few weeks/months.

    1) Security wipe.
    2) Security wipe WITHOUT restoring settings.
    3) New SIM.
    4) Install leaked OS.

I've been through them all and I'm currently on 4) but it's only been about a week. 2) Worked for me for over a month, but eventually failed again. New SIM did nothing for me but has resolved others'. Other people have had various results between.

What did you try? All of them?

I can say with a certain amount of confidence what it isn't. The SIM isn't full. I put it in my 9780 and it works fine. This also allows me to view messages saved on the SIM and there aren't any. Beyond that it's hard to be certain where the problem lies. It seems to be software (OS) related, but must also require some other set of circumstances or it would be happening to everyone.

    Hello.
My texting app would lag often, stall, and when I'd cancel out of one contact's texting conversation and try to text another, that previous contact's conversation will start up again. I fixed it by deleting full conversations with contacts that had 100's of texts per conversation. It works very well. Perhaps try this with your phone. Delete very lengthy text threads. I know you said it was a SIM card issue, but it never hurts to try.

    Good luck!

I fixed it once with "reload OS" through Link. It's much quicker than the security wipe.
Then just reload the backup you made with it.
It's not actually the SIM's problem. I think there might be a solution but it's quick 15 minute process.
