    Hello..!!

Being a new BB user, i am trying to fiddle around with apps and features. I am facing a peculiar issue in my contacts list, (i.e.) few of my contacts are not being displayed in the contacts app. I am able to add them back into the contacts list but not able to view them. After 2 days, I was able to see few of the missing contacts with duplicate entries (which I tried to add later on).

When I try to call any of the missing contacts using dial-pad, I can see the contact name while the call is being connected.

This sounds wierd and am sure that there is a simple setting/tweak which I am missing . Please advice me on this.

    Regards
    Raj

Yes, Sim card and gmail contacts are turned on. Yesterday I saved a contact but I am not able to see it today.
This contact was there in my contacts already.

Some OS versions have had problems in the contacts app, I don't know if that's the case with your version.
    but you can try this

    In the contacts app,
    swipe down,
    settings,
    turn on SIM contacts.

    If it still doesn't work,
Import your SIM contacts to the phone, (there's where they should be anyway)
    contacts,
    swipe down,
    settings,
    import SIM.

Make sure that you choose the right option to show, eg, all, groups, favorite and SIM.
IF SIM doesn't show it's not turned on.

If You import from SIM and choose to show "all", then you will see all contacts twice.
Turn of SIM contacts and you will only see one entry.

If it still doesn't work update your phone to OS ver. 10.2.1.1925

Which I would to do anyway

After trying all possible options I could think of and been told, I gave up on trying and did a security swipe. Now I am able to see my contacts. Apart from that I was able to see all the duplicate entries, which I tried to add when I had the issue
