    Greetings,
I was wondering if anyone knows the application and/or method used to show the screen possibly over the USB cable for the demo in this video:

I would like to show my Z10 interface to some colleagues at work that are geographically separated, and the best way I could think to do that would be through a mechanism like this. Using a USB cam to show off the phone I think would lose something in the translation.

Anyway if someone hows how the folks in the video did that demo, I would sure appreciate knowing.

Aren't they simply connected with a HDMI cable to a PC, and thus using a 'share screen' option of sorts?

Failing that, you'd need a HDMI capture card on the respective computer.

The cable would have to have it feed into my computer as a video source, otherwise it wouldn't be a window or "monitor" I could share through a communications software like WebEx or Lync.

I will start digging around for such a cable/connector and thank you all for the suggestion of looking at HDMI (I almost forgot there was that port on the phone as well since I have never used it).

What would REALLY be helpful is if BlackBerry would make a PC interface for BBM so desktop support people could troubleshoot user device issues/walk users through things on the BB10 devices remotely over BBM screen sharing. I could then in turn use this type of interface to link to my own BB10 device for this purpose. Oh well. :-)

    Thanks!

I haven't found anything to make this work a PC the way I described. Hopefully someday there will be a BBM client for the PC or something comparable.

If u want to let your colleague have a look at your screen and they have a bb10 phone.. then try screen sharing via BBM video..

Hit via the sexiest fone there is. Did sumone say Z10?

I always wished BlackBerry. Would make a go to meeting type client at least for BES so that the BES Admin/Help Desk could take control of or at least view the screen of a remote device.

Even if it is possible, that's not something that would be easy to roll out to IT Helpdesk folks, and would be awkward for presentations.

The WebEx App for bb is an option, once you are the presenter, all activity on your phone is shared.
