Show the Z10 screen through my computer?
Greetings,
I was wondering if anyone knows the application and/or method used to show the screen possibly over the USB cable for the demo in this video: Blackberry Hub, Blackberry Balance, Jan 30, 2013 - YouTube
I would like to show my Z10 interface to some colleagues at work that are geographically separated, and the best way I could think to do that would be through a mechanism like this. Using a USB cam to show off the phone I think would lose something in the translation.
Anyway if someone hows how the folks in the video did that demo, I would sure appreciate knowing.
HDMI definitely seems plausible.
The cable would have to have it feed into my computer as a video source, otherwise it wouldn't be a window or "monitor" I could share through a communications software like WebEx or Lync.
I will start digging around for such a cable/connector and thank you all for the suggestion of looking at HDMI (I almost forgot there was that port on the phone as well since I have never used it).
What would REALLY be helpful is if BlackBerry would make a PC interface for BBM so desktop support people could troubleshoot user device issues/walk users through things on the BB10 devices remotely over BBM screen sharing. I could then in turn use this type of interface to link to my own BB10 device for this purpose. Oh well. :-)
Thanks!
