I like the Orig. Holster for work
And the flipcase for private use giving some good protection but it's not realy handy...

I work in demolitions and it kinda goes without saying that I need a strong case that keeps out debris from my phone.
I heard good things about the Otterbox Defender, so I picked one up when I got my Z10. To be honest, this case did make the phone a tad difficult to use at first but now I have no problems whatsoever with gestures. Maybe the phone adapted to the case or I adapted to it but I have none of the problems I initially had now.
This case has saved my Z10 on numerous occasions...one in particular was a 25 foot+ drop. I thought the phone was done for but when I opened up the case, the phone looked untouched. It still works flawlessly. Investment compensated.

The case has 3 components: 2 pieces for the core and one rubberized shell. The core pieces snap together over the phone and the rubberized shell seals over the core. It is NOT waterproof (one feature that would make this case perfect). There is a screen protection window on the front that allows the use of touch without marring your screen.

The white transform Shell is good and handy but it has no Cover for the display!
I have the flipcase and i like it to Cover the complete phone in my pocket but you are right it's not realy handy for typing etc...

The dots are supposed to be some cool rain drop effect, i like the faded look. I couldn't decide so i order it in red, white, and blue... Not bad for $2.90 each.

I have the Flip Case as well. I actually like it, and looks pretty sleek, but as mentioned, the typing isn't too fun with it. With that mentioned, I like the fact that you can put it in your pocket without worrying to much about it(Not made for tight jeans =P)

I bought the rain drop effect one in pink, it's not slippery and it's cute. I also bought the S gel case from London magic store in pink and really love it.

Does the back of the case feel slippery?

it's more smooth than slippery meaning it's not like the rubber silicone types that tend to get caught in your pants pocket and pull out everything with it...it's more of a hard plastic feel, yet somewhat flexible. Very lightweight... It has these bumpy ridges along the edges for better grip...very sturdy overall...the only flaw (if you want to call it that) is that the volume and lock buttons are covered and you have to press down a little bit harder than normal but i'm guessing that area will soften up over time... Also the white/ grey case i got (pictured) is actually clear and your z10 looks more greyish than in the picture shown, but they do have full white and other assorted colors, i don't mind the clear one since it shows the blackberry logo in the back... Also, i plan on changing cases often when the others arrive so it's not that big of a deal to me.

there is no back panel as a part of the case that is hard to see in the picture, is there? is the bumper just a hard plastic or is it rubbery?
