This seems much better to me than having to push the ?123 button. What do you guys think?
To be clear, I mean that it would be nice to be able to simply slide the keyboard over to get to the numbers as opposed to having to bring your thumb down to the corner to switch back and forth between the two. Maybe they tried this and it isn't faster, but it seems as though it would be easier...? Maybe...maybe not?

If you swipe down on the keyboard, it'll switch to the symbols and numbers.

Yup, just swipe down on the keyboard to get the numbers. One more swipe will bring you some more symbols.
Also, a swipe backward on the keyboard will delete the last word. A swipe with 2 fingers will delete 2 words, and 3 fingers will delete 3 words. It is an awesome keyboard once you get used to it.

I recommend watching the tutorials. You might discover some things you might not know now.

Other keyboard tips are..hold the space bar for a second and it'll close or swipe up with two thumbs from the bottom bezel to open / close the keyboard.
Hold Shift (Arrow) down for a second to keep CAPS On too.

My friend insisted on showing me the keyboard of her Samsung S4 recently. She was showing me how predicted words appear above the keyboard and if she regularly uses a slang word which it doesn't recognise it'll start suggesting that word too.
I thought it's only fair to show her my Z30 keyboard afterwards which soon shut her up... She's looked miserable since.
I don't think she'll be doing that again anytime soon !
