I am thinking of switching from Z10 to Q5, I am missing the keypad.

Will it be a good decision.

If you don't sell the z go for it, I'll bet you will join the switching club. Keep going back and forth between the Z and Q for ages now

It's a bit of a downgrade, if you miss the keyboard I would be switching to a q10

It's not a downgrade at all. The Q5 has a better screen than the Q10 and twice the battery life of the q10 and Z10. The only downside to the q5 is the camera (which is still excellent) and the lack of HDMI (miracast solves this).

Q5 is a snappy little device. I get lag on my Z10 but never on the Q5. I switch back and forth all the time. Try the Q5 and I bet you'll love it.

Some apps you use on your Z might be hidden from your Q in app world, others may work but have GUI elements missing or cut off.

I found it shocking how "claustrophobic " I felt always scrolling around to view my online world through such a small window. If you enjoy viewing video, photos or web pages you might find the q inadequate.

The camera was quite a downgrade from the Z.

But, top notch typing experience. If you text and email a lot, and media functions are of secondary importance then this is the phone to get.

Yes my work is only email, text n calls
I bought Z10 in India, when BlackBerry has dropped its prices jawfully.

Now they have done the same for Q5, but its not that popular in India.
