I think it is a good idea. Samsung has a strong presence now with its own section in Best Buy. BlackBerry should consider its own section and that will allow customers to learn and play with the devices since it does have a higher learning curve than Samsung. Customer awareness of the OS10 is lacking and this will bring the product directly to the customers. Highlight security, teach side loading, feature the Hub and communication aspects. This will give the brand a fighting chance. This current silence does nothing to the product. And have promo pricing.

What part of: "They had store last year in USA but closed them because they were empty" people do not understand?

This should be transfered to Armchair CEO forum.

What if it was a franchise... private owned but only sell BlackBerry products

Some one in the private sector would not be so stupid to invest in a phone who has less than 1% of market share and dropping!

It does sound like something the government would do! LOL!

They problem is they didn't employ BlackBerry fanatics to be Ambassadors for the launch of the BlackBerry 10 when it hit stores in the US or Europe. They solely relied on carrier relations and un-knowledgable sales force. I was at a store front at Washington-Dulles Airport in Virginia and I knew more of the Z10 than they knew. Took pics with me, I wonder what they did with it.
BlackBerry fanatics should be the ones being employed and put in stores like Bestbuy and warehouse stores to sell to potential customers.
When I walk into Bestbuy and ask for a BlackBerry 10 phone their first response is to sell me a different phone which is wrong.

I think that customer service and repair. Could be more useful instead of shops.
