    Make sure there are no zombie android processes running in the background. Get an android task killer like 'task manager' from the BlackBerry World and kill them.

    This solved my PIM Services going crazy after weeks of headscratching. This isn't to say it will definitely fix your problem, it might be something else, like an Email account sync failure.
