I had problem with my GPS last evening (24 hours ago), it displayed my location some 3500km off, but every time in same exact location, Abu Dhabi. After few hours it worked fine.
Aha, today mine says I am in the USA but I'm in the UK on my Z30. My Z30 sensors are all ok at the moment. I'll check my Z10 soon.

It would help if people reported at least device and OS so we can see if there's a pattern.

According to bla1ze it's fixed again. Reboot and verify it's working.

This happened to both my Son's phone, and mine today. We had both downloaded the Star Tracker app a couple of days ago, and the problem seemed to occur after trying to run that app. Deleted the app, and rebooted the phones, and all is well now.

I've run Star Tracker several times since downloading it and my Z10 wasn't affected at all. As some others have posted, the problem is fixed on BlackBerry's end.

Well as Bla1ze said, it was their servers again just like last time. I still find this sad that the phone relies on that to function properly.
    kbz1960 and FF22 like this.

How do these sensors work on other platforms? Do they rely on some server somewhere? This isn't good if it keeps happening, not as bad as a BIS outage but bad none the less. Makes them look unreliable.

I wish I knew. I would have never thought that it would be even like this with BlackBerry until it happened.

I'm still having issues here on rogers.10.2.0.1803. No rotation after wiping and several reboots. Tried the location services off as well and still no luck. Hopefully will be fixed with an update?
