    i was playing around with BB protect and locked my self out of my phone, started a security wipe but it has been doing it for about 15 minutes is this right. and what damage have i done ?

    If you have a computer with a microphone use your Gmail or Skype account (if you have either one) to call your carrier and get their help.

    Just wait till the security wipe finishes. Next time if you lock yourself out using BlackBerry Protect just reset the password using the website.

    More than likely. But if your email account is GMail, Yahoo or Outlook.com etc. you'll have all your Contacts online and they will sync via Exchange Active sync.

    From what I know, you will lose the phone contacts, not the sim ones.
