    Are blackberry phones secure on public carriers or do you need to be a subscriber to blackberry services in order to enjoy legendary BlackBerry security

    Your off the shelf BlackBerry will never be as secure as one used with a BES. The 'legendary' security comes from BES.

    Can u please explain how does BES help? Because they r used only by software professionals right? I found it difficult to order it for myself because I'm the only one who will use it! I don't work in any kind of company
