I have a 32 GB card. It seems having the photos and videos saving straight to the card is causing most of the photos and videos to corrupt. I can save internally and pics and vids show up and play fine. When saved directly to the SD card, the files show up but for vids I get a message stating invalid file type, video cannot be played
The corrupt pics icons show up but when trying to view them it brings up a blank/blacj screen.

The question is whether this appears to be a slow or bad SD card issue. Ive formatted the cars while in the phone and that did not solve the issue.

Any insight /thoughts are welcomed! Thank you

I will also add that I think I have even seen a good pic moved to the SD card go blank
..
Seems obvious it is the card but looking for anyone who may have seen this before prior to buying a different SD card.

The Z10 seems picky about SD cards. I tried the 32gb Samsung one from my previous, Android phone initially, which had been working fine. Despite re partitioning and reformatting it prior to use, the Z10 kept telling me it had been encrypted in a different phone (it hadn't) and I eventually gave up and bought a new card. I have now got the phone set to save everything straight to the card. Every now and then it loses the plot, telling me all my music files are in a invalid format or that I have no images. A cold boot fixes this, and it is very infrequent.

Interesting. Doesn't sound quite the same issue but somewhat similar. I have a 4 GB SanDisk I will try to write to directly and see if same issues arise. The other 32gb is a no name brand.

Had a 32GB Lexar that caused this problem. Swapped for a Sandisk Ultra 32GB and no more problems.
Note that there could be a limited 1 month return on some of these SDCards so if it's screwing up take it back right away.
