    I switched to the microfiber pocket yesterday from the flip case. Since the switch, the screen cuts off and on randomly when being used. Has anyone else had this issue and if so any solutions?

    I'm using a microfiber pocket pouch with no issues. Screen turn on and off as it should when every i slide it in or out.

    It's normal. It has a magnet that shuts off or turns on screen to preserve battery life.

    Even if the phone is near, or above the case it may shut off.

    No problem dlowe23. I have the leather pocket for my z10 which is similar to yours. Every time I have it nearby it shuts off the screen.

    Yer I would bring my z10 out of my pouch and lay it on top of the pouch and then the screen would turn off. It didn't happen all the time. I finally worked out it was the magnet and if I got the position correct the magnet would turn the screen off.
    Also I recently placed my z30 in its flip case, with the flip open and on the back, on top of my old z10 pouch on my desk. I went to swipe up on the screen but it wouldn't work. It was only after 30 secs of panicking that I realised it was the powerful pouch magnet

    That was my guess as well. When using the phone and taking it out of the sleeve and laying it on top of the sleeve the magnet may put the BB into sleep mode. Just remember to use it naked.
