Hey all,
I searched but didn't find anything for screen lock on build 10.1.0.2342.

I don't see the functionality on the settings screen to be able to put a password lock on.

Also I have a suggestion for you developers out there. How about a screen lock that is based on a tic-tac-toe board. My vision:
During setup process user selects both x and o positions.
After game is setup (user will get to select between 3 and 5 positions for unlock code.)
During use: phone plays o user is x and x goes first. App options should give the user the added option to allow the phone to 'misplay' giving the user the option to reset the game with back circled arrow (Like a level reset in most games). (and added security)


What do you guys think?

Oh a continued thought proces...
Maybe add the options:
User selects if (s)he is x or o
User selects if x or o goes first

This would allow the user to select a password variable length between 2 and 5

What I thought would be cool is a SIGNATURE.
Lock Screen requests password and the person SIGNS on the screen with the fingertip and that unlocks the phone.

Don't know how that would be practical or workable. I just thought - If a PATTERN LOCK can be implemented, then why not a Signature lock.

If you want to instantly lock your device, put the password on and then hold the lock/power button until it shows the count down to turn your device off, touch the lock on the bottom of the screen and SHABAM, phone is locked

As soon as 10.2 launches with headless api's there will be a plethora of lock screen apps such as patternlock, signature, as they will be able to run in the background. For now all you have is the password lock

Why can't we have these apps and have them run in an active frame until headless api's are released?

I think most users would rather have it as a headless app that doesn't in an active frame.

I would as well. But, I would also like an alternative to the default phone lock now. Maybe it's just me needing instant gratification... ;-)

I believe it's because BlackBerry hasn't allowed developers access to the Lockscreen API's.

I just got a replacement z10 for att and yesterday when i swipe up to unlock i do not get the unlock keypad just the colored background screen. Any thoughts?
