The user manual/guide does not cover this topic. I downloaded some ringtones (had them e-mailed through Crackberry) and I opened the ringtones but cannot find them on my phone. Did the phone download them to a certain location or not? Also, the ringtone seems awfully "low" (not very loud). How can I fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you just tapped them I think they are just chached. Tap and hold on them, then tape save as to select your location

Files downloaded using the Browser generally go in the Internal Memory/Downloads folder.

If you do find them and they are too soft, you might need to use an audio editor program on a computer to boost the volume. Audacity is free and used by lots of folks on Windows.
