If you delete pre-loaded apps like, Facebook, Twitter, Carrier specific apps, etc, it will register you need to update your OS and just reload those apps that you deleted.

Every time I connect to Link I have the same problem. It keeps telling me I have a software update to 10.1 which I already have installed. Very annoying. Thought that would have been fixed on the Link update recently, but no!

So this is a Link problem and not an issue with the phone then

When you are being prompted, do you do the update?

What someone said earlier is absolutely true. The only time you get prompted for an update of the same build is when applications that came with the software get deleted.

This is why most people will realize that the update is very small.

You have two options. Ignore the update until it offers a newer version. Or do the update but put the unused applications in a folder so they don't actually get uninstalled.

Well it is not untrue, it just might not be the problem that you are experiencing.

Still a bit confused, so no one has experienced this

As mentioned before if after I do the update and plug back my Z10 minutes after it says software update with the same version I recently installed

I used to get this, but my carrier had decided not to push an update that everyone else had pushed. Kept saying I needed to update. Not sure if that had anythig to do with it. I ended up installing a leak and that took care of the problem.

As I was saying before I have the exact same problem. I even selected install update even though I already had it hoping it would go away next time. But alas I reconnect to link and once again I get the same update available. Must be a BlackBerry Link problem

I had the same OTA upgrade loop of about 2 or 3 mb. I did my upgrade from the 1925 leak to the official os over LINK, and kept on getting the message OTA. I then plugged back into LINK, did the upgrade, and FINALLY, the "you have an upgrade" message went away, and my Z 10 now says I have the most up to date version. Hope this helps.
