Yes it's safe. I have used it before to get 10.1. All it does it makes it so you can download an official release from another carrier. It basically does the same as link but can fake the carrier you are using. The OS is downloaded from Blackberry's servers.

No, you can't install the play store so there is no way to update without side loading the updated app.

If you are talking about coming OS updates, yes, you will get updates with this caveat: the update OS must be numbered higher than the OS you have installed.

Sachesi is a great app to sideload android apps, and to download another carrier's official OS on your device, and to load leaks from the BerryLeaks team. Also you can back up your phone, inject code if you want to run the unlocked android runtime instead of the runtime that comes with the OS, etc.

It's very limited on my Mac, is it the same on a PC or much more detailed or feature heavy?

What is the difference in using Sachesi and doing the conventional .zip download from MEGA? I have been using MEGA for some time and it works.

All of your apps and data are intact. No need to backup or restore.

Do you mean like OTA update, you don't need to backup or restore while updating via Sachesi ?? if its so, then its a great feature.

Yup!!! All I had to do is validate my email accounts. Kept folders and most settings. Seems alerts got messed up a bit ie bbm group messages gave me an audible alert which I did not have set before no biggi though. Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1791 via sachesi and love it. Oh had a battery issue where while using device on charger I was loosing power. After a day it's back to normal.

Hi, talking about injecting code I am afraid of using sachesi now to upgrade my blackberry. So will it be safe or not to use it? I was wondering if Sacheshi it self has been designed to hack in to blackberry to steal the information! Can you some body let me know how safe is Sachesi for upgrading Blackberry?
