I have two dead Z10s. I can't wipe them because they are dead (both just up and died I tried to get them fixed, but no go). I would like to sell them for parts, but they have information on them that I don't want to share with anyone. Is there any safe way to sell them without my information?

No. The logic board NVRAM has your data on it. If the device was encrypted when it died (I trust AES encryption against anyone but the spooks, and perhaps even them) then I'd feel reasonably safe doing it, but if not, absolutely not.

This doesn't stop you from removing and selling the non-critical pieces, however, of which there are a few -- specifically the camera and screen/front bezel assembly. The screen assembly in particular is in demand as people do crack them.

Just don't sell the logic board (if the phone is dead then that part is probably worthless anyway.)

Or just take a drill and perforate the memory modules.
