It took about an hour to do, but it gave me the benefit of choosing which files to install. I skipped the clock file because I like the Porches Design clock, and I also skipped the retail demo files as they aren't needed. A couple of times it scared me a bit - especially when it would reboot or would hang on a particular file installation. However, dragging and dropping the file a second time fixed it each time.
After the install was completed, I pulled the battery and started to use the phone. That's when it got really scary. Kept locking up, heating up, went through two fully charged batteries in 3 hours, general weirdness. However, having updated with Sachesi before, I knew it would take some time before everything settled in.
That all transpired last night. This morning, she's working like a champ and I'm enjoying this phone more than ever. Lots of nice features and a host of new apps.
Basically, I'm thrilled and am glad I didn't wait for AT&T for 10.2.0 or this new update.
Thanks for Sachesi and CrackBerry. Because of them, I'm not held hostage on 10.1.
EDIT: Only problem I've found is that BBM conversations are lost. If they are important to you, back them up to a text file somewhere.
