Why not let the end user decide which update he wants to down load the 10.3.1 or the 10.3.2, myself because I don't have all those gimmicky apps like Facebook or Twitter or the zillion other apps that people can't seem to live without these days on their phones, battery life for me is not an issue.

I know he and I are not alone out there on this planet, but for the majority of us, we just don't make a whole lot of noise about NOT using those "gimmicky apps". Count me in also. No Facebook, no Twitter, and definitely no gimmicky apps..... That's one of the main reasons I left iPhone. I just don't need all the "extras". Nothing against them, I just don't need/use them.

As I said, that's "one" of the main reasons I left. Not the only. And yes, I did just not use them. No offense to anyone who did. Just wasn't for me. Have all I need between BlackBerry World and Amazon App store. Just agreeing that there are those of us that don't use all the apps.

Actually, mine typically lasts 12-18h. I use the phone as a communication device. Z10 is a phone, not game console, internet terminal, book reader, GPS navigation, video recorder or a flashlight. I have no battery life complaints. 26h on a single charge example:

26 hours is very impressive! I usually get the same battery life you reported at 12 - 18 hours. Mostly email, text, and phone calls. Not much into apps. Some are cool but not useful to me. Z10 is a great communication tool. Suits my needs just fine.

I agree. Apps are great for those that use them and there are some pretty cool ones out there that my boys use. They just don't fit my use needs. Doesn't mean they can't use them. As to what phone is best, I agree that the best phone is what works best for each person. BlackBerry is best for ME but that doesn't make it THE best phone. I still own and occasionally use an iPhone 6. It's just that I prefer my Z10 as my daily driver. Doesn't make my iPhone a bad phone. After all, it is just a phone......

I have tested many different OS versions and the only one with this good battery life is 10.2.2.1609. None of the leaked 10.3.x versions come close. I also play no games and don't use any other social media services except Facebook as a messenger, have only few Android apps installed. Screen brightness is set on 50%, swipe to wake is off, phone is connected to LTE network with good signal quality. Z10 is not my main business tool though (apps I need not available for BB10). It just keeps alive one of my lines. If I don't touch the Z10 it will go for 48h on a single charge easily. This is why I'm not going to update it to 10.3.1.x, don't need any of the "new" features that I already have on my other device.

Just a quick though.
If I'm not mistaken over 50% of BlackBerry 10 users have the z10. Let's say it is true and the z10 will not get 10.3.2 because of the battery issue. How hard would it be or is it even possible for BlackBerry to make a better battery for the z10? Let's say 2500 mAh?

Yes, Galaxy S3 is supported by Cyanogen, currently work-in-progress rolling latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop updates. With popular Android devices you can always run close to latest OS for years. With BB10 devices you have to rely on BlackBerry only.

I have always had about a 12hr+battery time, but because I am now the admin for our store instagram site, it's been reduced somewhat, so even though I did not use any social media sites (even personally) I have to now
