I thought my days of My Z10 were done. I was using my Z while soaking off an old injury when disaster struck, and my phone landed in the tub. Not the smartest, I know, but it happened. I immediately dried it off the best I could and removed the battery to let everything dry. When I put it all back together this morning, the red LED would flash and that was it. Back to my old iPhone 4.

However all hope was not lost. I took my phone to the AT&T device support center where they hooked me up with a new device as I didn't realize I had gotten the insurance to protect me just in case. Thankfully, I'm posting this from my new Z. Gotta say, best phone I've used and I plan on staying Blackberry for the foreseeable future.

Years ago my wife happened to leave her Samsung clam-shell something in her jeans pocket and ran it through the washing machine. When she discovered her "error", she figured -- what the hell -- put it back in the jeans and ran it through the dryer. Still works to this day.

(face palm) Whew...I was wondering about that. Thanks for clearing that up. I have another question since you are so smart. Is it OK to play in traffic?

Captain Obvious must be your favorite superhero.

I'm surprised they didn't try to take the opportunity and convert you to an Android or iPhone!

It is safe as long as you leave your cell phone submerged in the nearest puddle so it remains safe.

That's the biggest pro of having a removable battery...if my Nexus 5 would have had one, I might not be using a Z10 right now...

So you are saying it's OK to leave my BlackBerry in a puddle while I go play in traffic. Thank You for such a timely reply. THAT is why I love CB so much. Caring people dedicated to helping others.
