    when i click on this setting . nothing happens ... what is supposed to happen?

    I thought it would lock the screen so that i stays either vertical or horizontal .. like the playbook ....

    Click the icon so it remains highlight in blue...that will lock in the orientation. It does work, but clicks itself off on its own from time to time.

    OMG. All this time I had been clicking anywhere (mostly the word). But the other five options bring up corresponding settings so I thought it was normal and that the rotation lock was broken. Now it all makes sense.
