Actually on the phone with Telus regarding the issue with SD card being not recognised by the Z10 after update. I'll update if I get more infos on this...
Is your MicroSD card larger than 32GB?

It seems to me that the initial release of BB10 did not recognize the (Microsoft proprietary) ExFAT filesystem, which is probably why people who put an SDXC (ie larger than 32GB) card in the Z10 had to reformat it to use it. Presumably the Z10 reformatted it with the FAT32 filesystem. (SDXC cards come preformatted with ExFAT filesystem)

Therefore it wouldn't surprise me if a BB10 update now includes ExFAT support (RIM/Blackberry only licensed ExFAT from Microsoft last September), meaning it is now expecting SDXC cards to be formatted in ExFAT. (like most devices that support SDXC)

Wonder when the update for the UK versions of the z10 will be out??.

Have a simfree z10 so hopefully shouldn't be too long before we get it here.

Actually no, devices which have the issue got Sandisk 8gb SD in when they've done the update.

I have a 64gb card and haven't had any issues with the OS update. I had installed the card when I got the format and formatted it to the FAT32 filesystem using the phone. The card is still usable after the OS update, so I doubt the OS is solely expecting an ExFAT system for 64gb cards.

So as for what is causing issues for other people though, I can't say unfortunately.

ok I don't know whatis going on, when I delete an app and go back and do a manual check for updates it says there is an update again. I download it and install it and then the apps i deleted are back, I have done this 8 times now.

    anyone else seen this?

awesome...funny i was just about to post the improvement on battery life and figured no one would believe me. Someone commented on this earlier.

I'm 3 hours plus since the update and the battery has barely moved. Looks very promising.

Kevin also clarified that updates are still controlled by the carriers so again it depends on how fast your carrier is for updates.

Was hoping that blackberry wouldn't let the carriers control the updates :/.
