Q10 pre-order price is like WOW, I like to have one to match my Z10, but that is a STEEP price as the Z10 was 139.99 in beginning and about 2 weeks later was 149.99 and now for limted times for the past week or so it is 99.99.

    $199.99 for Q10 pre-order.

I am sry to say I won't be pre-ordering I will be waiting a few weeks or so to see what price is then.

Z10 was $199 on release day with a three year contract on Rogers. It went down by $50 bucks about a week later, as I recall.

Pre order is always more money. If you want it so badly to be the first to have it then you'll pay and they know that. I'm sure the price will drop on launch day in two weeks

******** about $50 more? My god.. the Q10 has a bigger battery, better LTE cat and its a business phone with a keyboard. Remember the 9900? It was $199 as wellwhen it came out. Quit ********. If u dont like the price, dont get it in the start. Rogers made those prices, not Blackberry

    Wrong again.
I was first in line at my local store on launch day.
The phone was 189.99 on a three year term, with a 50 online instant rebate. Making it 139.99 after you login and clicked rebate on you my Rogers account.

You never end up paying the $189 tho. You end up paying 139 after thr rebate which everyone does. Rogers does this with all their devices. I should know. I upgrade phones every 2 months or so.

Also you can do the rebate online or they give u the rebate form and u mail it in. Either pay u never payed the 189 price, you paid the $139 price.

Also the advertising price was $139 which u ended up paying. So all in all, you never paid $189.

Anyone know what the full unlocked, off-contract price is? Most of us non-American BB users have to pay full price for our phones. The Z10 costs about US$750 so I assume the Q10 could cost a bit less?

The Q10 is $699+ taxes outright price with Rogers. Here in canada the Z10 cost from $550 up to $650+ taxes from the carriers

The z10 has never been $99 or $139 or $149 or $189 or $199. Not even close.

If you buy it off contract, expect $500+ or there abouts.

If you buy on contract in Canada, expect a 3 year commitment at a minimum monthly charge of $50, plus the initial teaser charge of $99 to $149 for a total price of $1900+. Yes, you do get 3 years service with that, but you certainly don't get a phone for $99. If you cancel your contract early, you'll still end up paying around $600 for the phone.

LTE 2600mhz would be nice and even at 2100mhz would be nice, but there is one huge problem LTE service is not offered in my location

And may not be available for a year or two from what I have been told, so its only good if I am out of town in cities that have LTE speeds.

Battery Life how will it be on 2600mhz?

Yeah 60.00 more if I want a Q10 on pre-order, that's 60.00 more I am willing to wait it out a few weeks as I have a Z10 like many already know and I love the device and all I want is a Q10 to have both of best worlds is all, its not a necessary item for me.

    Yes I did. I paid 189.
Then I went and got a 50 credit on my account when I did the online rebate.
So there was a period of time when I didn't not have the 50.
Not an issue for me but for a teenager who has saved up for a new phone it would be.

IMO. This is a super smart business move. SUPER smart. Bad for consumers, but blackberry understands that they need to juice out every so gle cent out of each customer. And they know the qwerty folks won't go touch screen and they have a complete monopoly over qwerty. I give Thorsten and his team much much props on this brilliant move.

You are not understand properly here. You NEVER paid the $189. You never got charged $189 and had to pay that amount. The contract and the bill u got from the store shows $189 BUT u went home and did the rebate. Once your invoice came it showed thr proper charge of $139. You physically paid $139 when the bill came on the monthly bill..

The store told u $189 and u need to do the rebate to bring it down to $139. You did that rebate and PAID $139 in the end. Do not believe me? Look at your invoice that shows the charge and contact Rogers.

You're both right. It was $139.99 on a three year term with Rogers on day one, for NEW customers. For existing customers, it was $189.99 with a $50 mail-in/online rebate, making the final price $139.99. My rebate didn't show up until the bill cycle following the one where I paid for the phone. So in reality, I did pay $189.99 for the phone, and then got the $50 back on my next bill. So while yes, the phone ended up costing me $139.99, I still paid $189.99 at the time. The fact that I got the money back doesn't mean I didn't pay that much or have to budget for that much when purchasing the phone.

Q10 seems like it has a stronger build quality, better LTE antenna and has a AMOLED screen vice a standard LED screen. I'm not surprised that carriers are marketing it at a higher price.

Yep, the rebate goes on the following bill cycle so you pay 189.99 and then the next bill you get the 50 rebate.. That's what it was like for one of my lines
