    email: [email protected]
    alias: [email protected]

This is easy to setup in Gmail, Gmail -> Settings -> Accounts and Import -> Send mail as and you can add an alias email address. When you send an email you can select which address in the "From" field (pulldown list). When you receive an email from this address Gmail ignores the '+' and everything after and just receives it into the main inbox but you can easily filter on this to a subfolder/label.

This works fine in Gmail but my Z10 hub can't retrieve any email sent to the alias address. The Z10 won't let me add another account since it really is just the same Gmail account.

Does anyone know of a solution for this?

Thanks but that is another type of alias for an external account. This is an alias for a gmail account and it is integrated into the main gmail account. BB can't seem to retrieve emails from two addresses on the same account.
