Hi guys,

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I having difficulty restoring a back up file of my old Z10 to my new Z10 via Blackberry Link. I don't see the option to do this.

In the past I have just used the switch device button and it worked by backing up my old device and putting all the info on the new one. However at this point in time I dont have the old one I just have the new one.

Also when hooking up my new device to BBLink I see the option to restore is grayed out.

Hopefully someone can help me out.

U have to link your new device to your pc /link then it should work

hi i did a back up before updating my q5...later when i restores it i am not able to get my text messages...can some one help me on this?

Just attack the device and go to the 'set up a new device'> restore from a backup....
