    Sorry to repost a question about a topic taht seems to have a lot of threads here, but I can't seem to find an answer, at least, not one that is recent.

    I have Yahoo, Gmail, and my private email server accounts configured as IMAP with SSL, but I don't see an option anywhere that discusses remote email search, or increasing that 30 day history limit for storing messages on the phone. Where would these things be found?

    You need to remove and do the 30 day+ sync on setup. Depending on your os...
