    1. Link on the computer sees my device that is associated to my BB ID.
    2. Link is enabled on the z10.
    - I see the computer name under Link settings on the Z10
    3. I have 2 folders set up to be shared in Link on the computer
    4. Goto file manager on Z10 and see the computer I am Linked to.
    5. Do not see the folders on the z10.

I can do Wifi browsing of my z10 from computer, and the computer reconizes my z10 in Link when connected by cable.

What am I missing getting the folders to show in file manager on the z10?

I would agree with you generally, but Windows firewall sets an exception for BB Link...

Trying on home PC and turned off fire wall anyway.. Same result.

Do you have symantec installed on your pc?? if you do... try to disable network threat protection. if you have avg, or Msft essentials you need to disable the firewall

No Symantec.. Just using Windows firewall (See above comment), and only AVG Free Antivirus.

on avg try to do the following...

Right-click the AVG icon in the system tray
    Click Temporarily disable AVG protection.
Choose how long you want the protection to be disabled and whether to disable the Firewall as well, and then click OK.

Have you tried reinstalling BB Link?

Lawguyman was the one who had it working - he has a thread on it. Maybe try popping into it and asking him how he got it working?

    And here's the link

I just run the firewall that is built in to Windows. I looked and Link creates firewall rules all by itself.

I didn't have any issues setting it up other than I had to manually select the folders that I wanted to share AND make sure that those folders had sharing enabled.

So all this is done and triple checked, makes no since... I am going to step away from it for awhile then try again later.

I have the same issue. Tried it at work as well (different network, same PC). I even removed the paired pc on the Z10 side and re-added...no dice. Guy at work has same Z10, same corporate software on PC, same OS version....his works perfectly. Perplexed.

I was having an issue where it would only work if my Z was on the same wifi network as my home computer, so obviously I had to be home. If i turned off the wifi on my Z, i would lose access. I don't know what I did, but now it's working. Might have been a combination of turning it off and on and just waiting.

    Try restarting your Z.
