    Hey,
I've transformed my Z10 into a (great) media centre but being a bit lazy I'm trying to find the perfect solution to remotely access it without having to move from the comfort of my sofa.

Has anyone been trying any gizmo that could permit me to do that?

I've looked around but couldn't really find anything... So any help is welcome

I did that with one of my Playbooks, plugged into the tv and audio system via HDMI out BB BT Music gateway, and controlled the vids and audio thru my Torch 9850, and now my Z30.

Sounds like you doing it backwards. Your Z10 should be the remote, not the "slave".
Can one bridge 2 Z10 units and get the remote control function to work on one of them????? Enquiring minds want to know......

Get a Bluetooth Mouse to control it from your couch.

Or you can get a Smart TV that recognizes the media stored on the z10 (using wifi, no wires) and then use the TV's remote to control viewing. I do that with my relatively new Samsung TV.

I was wondering how that worked out for you. I remember the thread where you mentioned going to try it.

What device do you want to control your z10 with?

If it's another bb10 device, consider buying the Blue Touchpad app from BlackBerry World, it works perfectly as a bluetooth mouse/keyboard

I use my passport as a bluetooth mouse/keyboard for various devices: other bb10 devices, playbook, laptop, windows tablets

Basically, my Z10 is my media centre and I want to be able to remotely access it so that I don't have to stand up.
I saw a video of it being controlled through a controller but can't really find the model.
I have tried with a Bluetooth mouse but it didn't connect for some reason

Somehow I've missed this thread in any refresh.

The Z10 is and is NOT detected sometimes. Not sure why that it. But when detected - no problems.

The only thing is that my TV model is one-shy of being able to pair with a keyboard or mouse. But there's always new models and I can't chase them all.

The mouse I have is an HP model. And, it is now about a year old, I'd guess.
