Yea, but App ARE part of the world now and we must adapt. And I think for the most part the apps we need ARE available or soon will be, or there are good substitutes available.

Kids can't get stuff done too? I'm not big on mobile gaming (and not because I'm a Blackberry user) but I can see the appeal. I found some free card games and they have come in handy when I take my lunch at work to make the time pass.

I do remember my old Blackberrys and am very sad they are now gone. Before all the games and entertainment even my 7520 was like something from the future. But when you started out with the BB950, which was just a pager with keyboard, it took little to impress.

How many here even know what a "track wheel" was?

Yeah, I miss my '64 Chevy with its limited amenities, under dash A/C, two speed transmission, 12,000 mile tune ups, 3,000 mile oil changes, 100,000 mile engine replacements...

    NOT!

The phone I now carry has more computing power and can do more, store more, get more, communicate better, and work harder than my first business desktop.

No way do I pine for the old blackberry with the scroll wheel that went the way of the vacuum modulator.

Talking about apps? This thing has Brickbreaker, Circlepopper, Raging Rivers AND Texas Hold 'em. Does my Z10 have Raging Rivers? NO! I'm going back to my 7250.

Mine broke that's why I replaced it. I didn't have enough money back then for the luxury of interchanging clips!

So the 7250 has been on and around all day and all of a sudden it beeped. I looked over and it was a low battery indicator audio signal. I actually forgot that it did that. I tried looking for it on the Z10, but I can't see where you can turn it on. Would be nice to have that. And it keeps reminding you!

    Touche'

FWIW, I exchanged my Z10 on day 14 ... and haven't had a reboot since. Tomorrow will be 14 days on the new device, so no doubt that my issue on AT&T was hardware related.

As an aside, one thing I did notice was that the manufacturing date on my new device was actually much older than my original device. My current device was produced in early December, 2012.
