No offence, but you really should have considered this when you bought a first gen device using a first gen OS.
But why? According to Heins "RIM's development teams are relentlessly focussed on ensuring the quality and reliability of the platform and I will not compromise the product by delivering it before it is ready. I am confident that the first BlackBerry 10 smartphones will provide a ground-breaking next generation smartphone user experience."

Are you implying it wasn't ready?

Lol good one. As much as I hate the bugs, I still cannot find myself using any other phone.

Not necessarily. But early adopters in tech are always going to have to risk putting up with some bugs. It is true on any platform, this is not something new.

Did the update last night, Had to reload system software, did a backup thankfully before the update. was stuck at 100 percent load for 5 hours i gave up and battery pulled , same issue so reloaded.Still lost all my sms's. Battery is way better for me now. Unplugged at 5am this morning still have 75 percent at almost 6pm.

Everything else after the reload is working though. except my sms are all lost even after the backup.

Just finished getting my Mms figured out through BlackBerry help center. Here is possibly a few of our problems. Mine started of directly from plugging my phone into lap top and letting it self load BlackBerry Link. Well the link it found was not fully tested yet. Basically if your going to get the BlackBerry Link get it directly from BlackBerry site. You can still backup your stuff on the one you have then go get the right one. The one auto loaded on my PC ended in 37 it should have ended in 32. Everything is running so far and pretty snappy. Thanks to the BlackBerry tech that helped me out for a few hours. Back when I had the bold it came with a disc to load on do less chance for a screw up. On BlackBerry Link check computer bottom left and see what version it's on.
