Hong Kong eh??...i hate to say it but its probably a cheap version of the original battery door. Also the only red battery doors are the special edition Z10's that were given to a select bunch of developers.

But if its the real deal then kudos, please post up pics when you get it.

So the red back plate came in today, let's just say I'm a tad bit disappointed lol, but whatever.

As it turns out, the fit is perfect, no issues their, the issue is the fact that there is a cut out for where the blackberry logo goes but no chrome logo, and no nfc components, my guess is that this was probably an extra part made where they actually make the limited edition back plate, but the person probably snagged it before the process was completed, that being adding on the sticker nfc piece. If it was complete, i would have definately rocked the red black combo, looks pretty sweet. Other downside is that it's a finger print manget/ magnifier lol.

Thought of that but the nfc thing looks impossible to remove without damaging it, I'm sure truesupplier dot com will eventually have the piece on there for cheap, but looks like this is going to sit in a drawer for a while

I doubt BlackBerry will release the red battery doors to buy, due to them being exclusive to LE devices.

I don't think so either, that's why when I saw this I took the risk and bought it, now in seriously considering buying a black or white, as cheap s possible, and gutting it to fit the red

I'm hoping that True Supplier or another online retailer will carry different color housing (full) or at least the battery door in different colors (with the NFC tag included). It would be cool to have that option like we did when the Curve 8330 and the customer battery doors for the Bold.
