    i am looking for a decent movie player with multiple support but must play avi files. I have tried to side load diceplayer but does not see my movie.

    Can you suggest any others?

    Try moving the movie to the built in media storage.

    The default video player app sees the file (stored on my sd card) but will not play it for some reason. That's why I was after something like vlc or mx player.

    Should I try moving it to the internal memory then? Why should that matter?

    Try converting the file. Probably the audio and/or video codec inside the avi isn't supported.

    Have seen that player in the app world however seems awfully exspensive!

    I know I am used to android and so much more for free being available but 5 for an app!

    Haven't quite convinced myself to keep the z10 yet so don't really want to invest too much in the apps until I'm certain.
