Imho, there is no need to install leak now when official 10.2.1 is just around the corner. Wait little more and than install official 10.2.1.

Good point. If you are on a carrier that typically rolls them out in a timely manner.

If anyone seemed to have any type of real idea when the official release might happen that would be one thing, but we've seen the rest of the world get 10.2 months ago. Days turn into weeks and weeks into months and everyday I just know that it's right around the corner, now we're just about in February and still nothing. Going for it this weekend, thanks to all for your help.

I shouldn't have to install a leak to get the latest features from BlackBerry. I don't care if it's their fault or the carrier's fault- I just want it as soon as possible and hassle free!

Here on AT&T running 10.1.0.2030... *sigh*

None of us should have to install a leak to get the latest features and fixes for our devices, but the reality is that we do have to wait. And as a fellow AT&T subscriber, the wait is unbearable! I install leaks as often as they come out. Because of the leaks, I'm maximizing the value of my device for the limited amount of time that I'll have it (probably about a year or slightly longer). I'd hate for you to spend the entire 2 year time that you have your Z10 on 10.1. Install 10.2.1.1095 & you'll be much, much, MUCH happier!

We've been hearing (speculating really) that updates were just around the corner for miles now...

Been a while since I posted here. Installed 1925 back on February 15 and I've been able to live my life gloriously enjoying 10.2.1 everyday. I recommend Sachesi. The wife won't let me load hers though and I feel bad because she's missing out on so much like lock screen notifications, in app. Notification and response to mention a couple. I still check almost daily to see if AT&T is pushing out the update, but day after day nothing.

I'm no tech whiz, but I got tired of waiting for AT&T and got 10.2 via Sachesi too. Piece of cake!

    Question:
say something goes wrong, is it as simple to reload the original OS as connecting the device again and selecting "reload original OS" or the like?

And about how long might the entire process take?

    yes

Im a bit technical and was very apprehensive loading the first leak. Now its like everyday stuff. Have a go my friend. You will be fine as there is so much help on here.

You won't regret it, I installed my first leak late last year and couldn't believe how easy it was, providing you follow the great instructions here on Crackberry it should be like falling off a log.

    Good luck
