Why would you reboot it manually? Nothing in the os requires a manual restart
I rebooted mine today, though I guess it really wasn't necessary. The battery icon said the battery was low, hub++ showed full. Rebooting fixed the glitch.

Mine definitely reboots. Trying the leaked 10.0.10 OS to see if it helps.

Which one was right about the battery? Hub++ or the os?

I have both a Z10 and a 9930. Never had a problem until 2 days ago. My 9930 rebooted for the first time that I ever saw. On its own that is. Just saying.

I thought that mine didnt do it, but it sure did today, I went to check in on foursquare and i caught it rebooting... so apparently this device is sneaky and reboots when your not paying attention :-)
And apps are sneaky too, had Battery Guru, BBM and LinkedIn quietly close on me.

I've had to do an old - fashioned battery pull to resolve an issue, so you never know.

I had two reboots during the first few days after buying the phone almost a month ago, none since.

I've never dropped mine and it rebooted (before I went back to my 9900) at least 4 times per day. I had no apps on it other than the stock apps that came with the phone.

There's a chance you never noticed, what is your last reboot date in settings?
My last reboot was around April 11 th but at that time I was forced to reboot because of major updates on my phone. It hasn't done before or after unintentionally.

My heart goes out to you guys though. I would keep getting replacements if I was in this mess until I had a "reboot free" Z10.

You've probably all read that BBerry suggested the that the screen lock/phone lock was being "overly aggressive". But... not sure if that makes sense. Especially since those of us on T-mo seem to not be experiencing this. Nor Canadians. Except that T-Mo and Rogers share basic frequencies. And maybe others.

Have any of you suggesting getting replacements ever taken the time to contact blackberry direct? I have, I also have two open cases with them. Their advice, don't exchange the device! It is a known software issue across multiple carriers.

You could also check by having an active frame open like the clock or maybe a sleep sound thing or whatever opened when you go to bed then when you wake up if it is gone most likely to reboot happened.

I called t-mobile today and they have it in their records as a "known issue" from blackberry and that they were told by BlackBerry that an update is being developed to fix the problem but don't know when it will be released. Since i live in cali i get a 30 day trial so they said i can exchange the phone if i like since i've only had it for 3 weeks.

Random reboots are caused by RAM, which happens to be made by Samsung.

    Prove me wrong.

Had my device since first week of Feb. Not a single reboot. I always have live tiles on and I've never woken up to them missing. It seems this issue primarily plagues VZW customers. I still think it's your OS.

Good theory. My Bro s3 had to be returned for a replacement motherboard after a faulty ram. But it was not an out of the box issue like reported here

My Z10 had 2 reboots in early stage, possibly by some apps conflicts. No more roboots after cleaning up those unwanted apps, but c'mon..so what if need reboot? My iphone and ipad need reboots, all my phones and previous bbrys need reboot ocassionally, my windows need reboot, so what?

Whether the gadget works or not, it is up to the person who uses it. Z10 is not perfect but none is.
