Hello all, I apologize if this has been discussed. I did use the search and a lot came up but looking for a simple answer.

Basically does a higher memory usage app necessarily mean more battery usage? If I run beweather pro my ram might drop 30-40mb while running, and accuweather will drop 60-70mb while running. Beweather is a larger sized app than accuweather, but does it necessarily mean it drains more or is the memory usage and battery two totally seperate situations? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Errrm.

Your memory *usage* probably won't affect battery performance too much, although it will to some degree. you would more likely see battery performance issues correlate with CPU usage (as in, the CPU working harder for a game compared to, say, the CB10 app)

    Hope that helps?
