I'm tempted to remove my screen protector just like the way my iPhone was. How's the screen after 1 or 2 months of use without screen protector? Does it have scratches?(assuming that you take good care of your device) Does it easily scratch?

just make sure you don't have any sand in your pockets and you'll be fine. I rocked mine for the first couple months without a screen protector. I got a couple scuffs on the screen from having a pocket sand...thew on a screen protector the next day

I have the belt holster and most of the time it is in there now. No screen protector. I used to just keep it in my pocket as well. I'm not a fan of screen protectors. I seem to forget that every time I get a new phone cause I spend money on them then after a week I decide to remove it. I did this with my S3 as well and not a scratch.

I've had my Z10 since release and it hasn't any scratches. I use a transform case half the time and it's also the phone that has been dropped (fell out my pocket at the gym) more than any of the other BB's I've had.

Screen protectors are good if you have a quality one, k
Like the ishieldz. Without one, it should be okay as long as you're careful with it. It's not scratch proof or anything but on my playbook which I've had 1.5 years the screen is still top notch with no scratches because I always made sure it stayed that way. Same with the z10. Put it into a clean empty pocket and you should be fine. It only takes one screw up though..

I use the holster, so no issues about scratching, but I've only had mine for a couple of weeks. I have ordered the Rhino Shield to protect the screen from impact damage, though.

Depends what kind of person you are. I put my phone in my pant pocket and nothing else in that pocket.

My wife on the other hand likes to put her S3 in her purse, so I got her a flip case.

I've had my Z10 since late February, screen is in perfect condition. I have the microfibre pouch, but I do sometimes put the phone in my pocket without it.

My phone is one month old now, and I've used the BlackBerry leather sleeve since the first day, using it without a screen protector, and taking really good care of my phone. I rarely put it in my pocket during work in a rush. No scratches whatsoever.

My screen is FUNKED UP! I removed my screen protector and have noticed little scratches. I'm replacing my screen and housing ASAP already order them as I dropped my phone and it slide across the sidewalk, didn't fair well.

**Side note: my brother dropped his z10 in wet cement and after having a flip case on and reacting quickly he saved the phone and it works perfectly, even after cleaning cement out all the holes.**

I love my z10 and I'm paying $270 to replace the screen and housing. Moral of this story, better to keep the screen protector on.

If you dont drop it or anything like that then it will be fine but things happen and one day you might drop it and scratch/crack it and will regret not putting one on/keeping it on

No scratches here. I never use screen protectors because I can never get them on straight, and I always end up touching the sticky side and leaving finger prints. I'm usually pretty careful with my phones, anyway.
