With the unlocked Z10 available for $200 US I am considering buying one to use as a travel phone mostly to the US.

Can I transfer everything on my current Z10 to a new Z10 easily? No need to sync from the new phone to my current phone when I return home.

Using the phone in the US for phone calls, BBM, Browser, Texting.
Yes I am aware that my current phone can be unlocked.

sure you can do it easily. What version of the Z do you currently have?

That would be a great idea. Actually if you have the mobile version I think that has the most lte and 3G bands or the one with the most sold in the USA you'll ensure more compatibility.

As far as syncing bbm messages and phone calls instantly that's a nono you'll have to do a backup restore
