i read that the Q10 is coming with 2100mAh instead of the same battery in z10.

So is it possible to buy this battery as well for the Z10 or is coming a third party battery with more
mAh?

As far as I'm aware (Obviously unconfirmed) the battery for the Q10 is a different model than that Z10, as such, I predict the battery for the Q10 will be physically different to the Z10 battery.

With regards to third party batteries (Like the Gold battery for the 9900), use extreme caution. Some claim they have a stupidly high battery capacity (2400mAh, 3500mAh etc) some may, and therefore may be physically bigger than the OEM battery. As far as I know, the phones are usually programmed with the OEM battery capacity in mind (There's a lot of crazy maths involved with converting the voltage output of a battery into a battery % indicator). I found with my 9900 that "higher capacity" batteries were useless as the phone was programmed to read 1250mAh batteries. As such you would get a "0%" battery indicator.

To summarize, by all means try a third party battery, but use caution. And I suspect the Q10 battery won't fit the Z10.

Only way you'll fit more potatoes in the sack, is a larger sack. Currently there's no extended battery available I know of, and if by chance the Q10 battery fit, it would have to be thicker.

Due to the size differences alone I would assume that the battery in the Q10 would be more the shape of the battery in the 9900/9930. The battery in the z10 is a new design and is long and slender. I highly doubt the two would be interchangeable.
