I purchased the Z10 at launch in the US, and ended up giving it to my brother when I got the Q10. I have just purchased another Z10 privately for $120. I am glad I got a great device for a steal, but does this bother anyone that BlackBerry has zero value in the market? Specifically the US market.
It will probably prevent me from being early adopter of anything BlackBerry again. Between my PlayBook week one purchase and Z10 week one purchase I paid over $1300 for devices that rapidly lost value and both can be bought for about $300 combined now. I should have bought an iPad because it would be worth more and still supported by Apple unlike the PlayBook. I bet my kids iPhone 5 could still fetch $500 aftermarket.

Still like my Z10 but the device should have launched with a $399 price tag at launch. Would have sold way more units and depreciated slower.

And you discovered about zero value today? However, there is a silver lining here - it has a zero value for thieves.
I put a price tag of about 6.66 cents on an iPhone five. I think using that is more of a disservice than a good thing. That OS will never change. They won't give up the crappy 1million app store. Do really think the old apps could be emulated. On what stable and secure OS. QNX? Please. Thanks for the laugh.
Yeah I hit the quote button next to edit. Need to pay more attention as it looks similar to when you edit. They should just prevent you from quoting yourself.
I've noticed that just in the past month or so, the used market has been flooded with Z10's (on Kijiji, anyhow).. it's hilarious how much some people are asking for them though.

It just annoys me that BBRY doesn't show the world what BBRYs can do, so I have to do it for people who ask me about it. Also I have to defend my BBRY whenever I come across ignorant people. Otherwise I'm happy with my Z10, otherwise I wouldn't be carrying it.

My question wasn't asking if you were happy with your device. It was asking how you felt about the current "value" of the device.
I used the word "value", because it is completely determined by perception. Perception in the US of A, gives BlackBerry zero value.

I must agree with you Inichols, I as well an early adopter of the PlayBook and BB10 devices, except for the Z30.

OOOOhhh well in that case it has increased in value since the day I bought it. But I'm happy that it will only cost me $120 to replace my phone if I ever break it and not $800. I'm however not so happy about BBRY as a bumbling company.
