Play around with your Media sharing on the Z10 and then do a search with your PS3 for Media Servers. Should find your device.

Might be an easier way.

Have to go right now, got a furnace guy coming.

More info later if needed.

Search for media servers...should pick up ur Z10 go back down to the blackberry logo and listen to music

I tried and I got an error. What generation ps3 do you have? I have the first gen and it does not work. I tried every option on the phone and ps3. I'm guessing it depends what gen ps3 you have?

I have the 1st skinny PS3...i tried this on my friends fat PS3 and it did not work, it picked up the phone but would not let me access the media

I have a day 1 ps3 and I can do it.
Make sure wifi sharing is enabled on your z10

This is hilarious....going off on a discussion about ps3 generations without even checking what firmware versions both PS3 consoles are running.

When troubleshooting, start from the basics. Firmware (software version) controls most of what your PS3 can do. First ask for firmware version before asking if its the fat or slim console. Hardware is largely the same anyway.

Plays great on my PS3 and on my Samsung smart tv for the smart tv just pull up the side menu while playing media on our Z10 and select play on then it will give you option depending what you have. Ie receiver or tv ect.

I wasn't 'discussing' the generations, I was inquiring about them. I don't much have knowledge about gaming consoles, hence my post. Thanks for the tip.
