IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT FIXING THIS ISSUE, DO NOT SKIP ANY STEPS.


* Uninstall Instagram from your Z10 ->
* Install Instagram to your Z10, without opening the app at all ->

* On an Android / iPhone / iPad / iPodTouch / BlueStacks.com ; log onto your Instagram ->
* Goto your profile on Instagram, and view one of your photos ; on the bottom right corner, there is a 3 dot menu key, press it & click on "Share", then click on "Facebook" ->
* Log in using your Facebook info when prompted ->
* Follow the instructions, should be asking you to access Facebook through Instagram on your behalf etc. etc. ->
* If the Instagram photo you shared on Facebook was successful; then go ahead & open the Instagram app on your Z10 for the first time ->
* Click on "Log In" -> "Forgot Password?" -> "Reset Using Your Facebook" ->
* (Note: "ResetUsingYourFacebook" is self-explanatory, it is asking you to log in using your Facebook information in order to re-set your Instagram information.)
* Follow the instructions note: you must reset your Instagram password to a brand new password you've never used before ->
* Enjoy you are done!


PLEASE NOTE:
If you don't want to repeat this problem avoid doing this:
-Wiping / setting your device to factory settings.
-Signing out of Instagram on your device.

I just wanted to point out that if you don't have an android or iphone you can always download bluestacks on your home computer. After you install instagram click settings -> change app size and choose tablet for instagram or else it will appear sideways.

Don't be an *****.
Steps 13-14 only work for some people.
So to avoid confusion and anger.. I rewrote the correct steps to take.
Do yourself a favor and find the nearest bridge.

hi there here's where im stuck..once u selected Reset Using Your Facebook do u reset your facebook password or select the instagram where u will be emailed a link to change your password.

Type in your FB password->
Now u reset your Instagram password.

I followed from step 1. What I noticed was after logging in to Facebook some pop up was saying 'sorry we couldn't (attached)'
Then I did reset my ig password anyways then when I got the email link click on that changed password back to my ig app -sorry u have outdated version and stuff. I'm stl2 on .90 if that means anything. Help!

Un install and reinstall using ddpb then go and do log in with Facebook. I figured that out when tinkering around after it says sorry you have to use the computer to un and re install it

Also you're making this much more complicated, op. And don't get all mad like you have been getting but honestly all you have to do is use reset with Facebook. And to the people saying that It won't work like that or if they get an install option. Just go on the Facebook website and click send to mobile for instagram. then reset it using Facebook. It's so much simpler.

I kept getting this error as well despite following the steps above exactly as written. Then I decided to follow the steps above again but using via DDPB instead of vnBB10 to sideload the Instagram .bar. Not sure why the loader would matter or if it was just a coincidence, but either way, it worked!
