Hi all! I've had my Z10 ever since the day it came out in Canada and I've been having problems sending attachements with only one of my 3 email accounts.

The problem is, when i attach a file (photo or any other type) it arrives to the person i send it to, but the file size is always 1000b and nothing opens when file is clicked. Plus, in the message field, all sorts of characters appear. From the same email account, i can send a text email without a problem (or almost), an "=" always appears randomly in my signature. This email is for my videotron account. I do not have any problems with my gmail or hotmail account. I've tried setting up this videotron email in every way (IMAP or POP) that videotron lets you do it but nothing solved the problem.

I contacted videotron tech support and their answer was basically that the problem isn't theirs because if i go on their webmail, i can send the attachment no problem. So to them, the problem is somewhere in my phone since it's the only place the attachments don't get to the other end properly...

it's an email @videotron.ca is this right? I have one of those too (which I'm not using).

I can go try it out sometime soon and report back on this thread.

Yes, it is a videotron.ca email and my carrier is telus!
