Hello,
I am getting a replacement Z10 today since my device has the wonky Vzn reset issue that has progressively getting worse over the past few weeks.

I will be migrating my current micro SD card with all my data and pictures from my original Z10 to my new Z10. I had previously set my Z10 camera to store the pictures on the SD card, and will do the same thing for the replacement Z10.

I am concerned that when I do this that any new picture that I take will be named with the replacement phones sequence number, which typically starts at "IMG_00000001", if that happens will it overwrite the pictures that I currently have on the SD card? I had looked through the settings but there was nothing that I could see about changing the settings for the sequence numbers.

I liked the way the older BB's handled this, they would set the number sequence as the date and time, which worked so much better, particularly in this situation.

Anyone have any insight?

Hmm I have transfered photos between security wipes on my device. When I have put photos back the camera continues after the last numbered photo so the sequence has been correct for me. It did not start back at #1 again.

Even if it did it would add (1) to the name.
