You might try and put a small piece of Blue-Tac on the button and see if this stops the rattle which will tell you that's where the problem is.

Love your username by the way!

Not the camera sound, you don't even have to take a photo, just launch the camera app then close it and it makes that tick... try it..

    Two questions:
    1) are you in the UK?
    2) do you have the number for BlackBerry UK?

(I'll PM you with it if you answer 'yes' and 'no').

If you're feeling ballsy, go for the disassembly.

It's not too difficult especially because most parts are fitted by screws in place, as opposed to adhesive and the prying isn't too bad;it's nothing too complicated.

You could have a look in your phone to SEE the issue. Btw, I managed to change my LCD and middle plate, AND apply new thermal paste and I'm only 17 Honestly, it isn't too bad, it really isn't.

I seem to remember another user a while ago had a similar issue with their Z10 and his/her fix was to wedge a small amount of paper between the back cover and the back chassis where the power button sits. Can't say for sure this will work in your case but it may be worth a try none the less.

For those in the UK (and elsewhere), here's BlackBerry contact details
(when you call, tell BlackBerry your carrier told you to call them - then BlackBerry will escalate for you):

Really? You had to judge someone by your standards?

Unlike most people on the forums, I try to help where I can.

    Jheez man chill out.

But really, the fact that you would PM someone instead of reply to the thread where everyone could benefit from it did legitimately seem like an excuse to PM her, no offence.

Also, it was you who said that you'd PM her, not me, so I'm quoting your words, not making up stuff. Lastly, I think that most people on the forums who actively contribute are very helpful. It's only the inactive people with <10 posts who are here just to troll. Not saying everyone with <10 posts trolls though, or that major contributers are all helpful. (You can contribute negatively)
