    am about to switch over to a Q10 and am wondering what is the best way to save the texts as I have some important ones. Thanks.

    It appears to be hit or miss when you back up your device via BlackBerry Link whether or not your texts get copied. It has always worked with me both when I had a Z10 and now with my Z30.

    However I don't think you want to take a chance since your texts appear important. There a several apps in BB World that will back them up for you. It looks like "SMS Backup" is highly rated.

    But then again, you won't lose your texts on your old phone when you backup and restore to your new phone. See if the backup works for you. If it doesn't, buy the app and do the backup/restore for the texts.
