Is it just port and you're done, which I'm sure some do, or do some devs actually have the ability to and do more than that to make them better?
I think they always have the option to upgrade an app. The question is whether many will find it worthwhile to do so. I had a read about this and the consensus was that BlackBerry will need to court the developers to bring it about, but I think it's any body's guess whether it'll work.

Zillow, Nest and Soundcloud are just a few ported apps that work great for me.
I'm happy with the way things are right now and I think BlackBerry made the right move having the Android Runtime Environment. I've had crashes as well but I just delete those apps..

When Os10.1 comes i think blackberry should make redeem promo codes feature in blackberry world for developers who build native apps only so that support them and makes other developers make native apps instead of porting them

Exactly!!! And there lies the ultimate failure of BlackBerry.

My thoughts exactly. And the more ports, the more app update headaches.
