I've tried all that. Nothing seemed to change anything.

    Then...

Suddenly my sim card stopped getting an lte signal. I always carry two phones on me so I switched sim cards to see if it was the phone or indeed the card and low and behold the other phone I put my sim in only got 4g and not lte. So I have the good sim in my z now and I'm getting lte and my pim svcs are waaaaaaaay low like not even 1% low. I did also notice that whichever phone I had this card in the battery did not last long but I never thought anything of it. I'm going to order a new sim and see if that makes any difference once I swap it in.

Yeah right now my pim svcs are at 13 percent and the phone is not hot at all. I've been suspecting something was up with that card for a while now. This confirms that it at the very least shows it contributed to the problem.
