Doesn't have to be the exact spot, there is a buffer zone, try an image that has a circle or something small, put the number inside it and practice with that picture, after you get the visual idea of the buffer zone set your final image and set it again.

Also, don't put the finger over the number put it close by and drag the hole number grid, is easier that way because your finger doesn't cover the number you want, most people don't know that you don't need to put the finger over the number.

I used this feature since available without a problem, my wife never could use it, now she has learned to unlock my phone and gets the idea but she still prefers the short password.
I did that with one of the windows in the picture as a reference point, and I didn't have my finger over the number.

Picture password.. so simple and quick - one gesture. I replaced my old way of punching in a password a long time ago and I'll never go back. People are so impressed when they see me do it and then I always take an opportunity to ask them to guess it when holding the phone in front of their face.. pretty sweet!

By linking the pre-selected number to a designated location on the picture.
The beauty of it, U don't have to drag the number but instead move the frame of numbers and see your number match to the selected spot.

    As such....

Mine will never stay turned on on my Z10 but it works fine on my Q10.

Both have the same email accounts (one of them is a work exchange forcing a password).

    Any ideas ?

Not sure. How did you took your previous picture password screenshot?
The usual song playing, lock and double volume?
That doesn't work, I have no idea any other methods.

First- picture password is great when I can make it work...that said, I'm not very good at it! I too, as some have said previously, think the movement is to precise. Last time I tried to use it I could not make it work at all! Finally had to revert to password. Realizing fine motor skills are first to when in a hurry or under stress, wondering if I may need to go back to regular password.

Here's the picture I use. I don't have the original picture but anyways my number is 0, and my spot is one of the diamond purple shapes.. little one. The 0 fits in perfectly in it and that's why it's easy as cake to use
